“I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in December of 2018. After a pathological right shoulder fracture from an unknown cause, I was referred to Dr. Hamdy Mohtaseb. Dr. Mohtaseb read my X-rays and blood work, sent me to the hospital for surgery on compression fracture C5neck. Without that, I could have been paralyzed from the neck down.
Scans confirmed several sub centimeter nodules in lungs, multiple lesions in skull and spine bones, plus possible mass in right cardiac border.
Dr. Mohtaseb started treatment immediately with Velcade (chemo), Pomalyst, and Dexamethason.
In February 2020, I received the good news that I was in FULL REMISSION!! I continue to be monitored, taking immunotherapy and small dose of steroids, but feel great 👍🏻
